Who we are

At Star Cross Comics, we’re a collective of independent creators united by a shared passion for storytelling—spanning genres, worlds, and imaginations. Since 1998, we’ve been building a diverse library of stories filled with epic battles, unlikely alliances, personal journeys, and unique worlds.

Our comics are creator-owned. Each creator retains ownership and creative responsibility for their own characters, stories, and properties. Star Cross Comics isn't a traditional publisher that develops or produces comics on behalf of creators. Instead, we're an organization of creators who bring their own work to the table and come together under one banner—combining our voices, audiences, and creativity to make a bigger noise together.

Many of our characters and titles exist within the shared Star Cross Universe, where independently owned properties can cross paths, form alliances, and become part of larger stories. Others remain entirely within their own worlds and continuities. This gives each creator the freedom to maintain the identity of their own work while still being part of the larger Star Cross Comics collective.

Our collective is made up of independent creators, each bringing a distinct voice, vision, and world to Star Cross Comics. Whether a story stands on its own or connects to the shared universe, it remains the work and property of its creator—all while contributing to something that has been growing for decades.
